The highly-anticipated film Pain Hustlers has finally dropped on Netflix and it’s just as outrageous as advertised!
Starring Chris Evans and Emily Blunt, Pain Hustlers follows Liza Drake (Blunt), a struggling single mother who becomes involved in a pharmaceutical start-up that may or may not be a total scam.
The movie is inspired by the true story of Insys and its very dangerous product Subsys, a fentanyl-laced pain relief spray for cancer patients. Needless to say, things didn’t end well for the folks over at Insys IRL.
Fortunately, Emily Blunt’s character Liza has a conscience so she may just make it out of this thing alive. Maybe.
