Imagine: a TV show about a group of average employees at a failing paper company in a small town. Now, replace the words “paper company” with the words “local newspaper” and you have Peacock’s latest original series, The Paper.
The series is from — you guessed it — the creators of The Office, who have apparently run out of any sort of original ideas.
At least The Paper has an A+ cast with several familiar faces that include Domhnall Gleeson (Fountain of Youth, Echo Valley), Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus), Melvin Gregg (Snowfall), Ramona Young (Never Have I Ever), Chelsea Frei (Animal Control, The Cleaning Lady), and Oscar Nunez (The Office).
