‘RHONY’ Luann de Lesseps Just Wants to Put Everything Behind Her, Ok?

Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps is just ready to put all the jail time and probation behind her.

Luann recently appeared on WWHL to discuss breaking her probation back in May (she was originally put on probation after her notorious arrest in Palm Beach in 2017).

The Countess told Andy Cohen,

“The outcome was that I got stricter probation rules until the end of August. So I’m almost done and then this will be behind me 100%. But I paid very dearly for the last year for one very big mistake. I’ll be glad to put it behind me. And I feel like I learned a lot about myself in this year — it’s been more than a year.”

Luann has been the subject of numerous tabloid stories after her arrest and subsequent sobriety.

Back in late April of this year, Luann fell off the wagon and violated the terms of her probation twice. According to People, the consequences of breaking her probation was that she now had to call into weekly counseling sessions, attend monthly psychiatric sessions, and keep a breathalyzer in her car.

As for her sobriety, Luann admits that she still struggles every day. In the first part of the RHONY reunion, she said it was particularly difficult while filming the show.

“It was really tough. What people don’t realize is that it’s a lot of work. And it was really difficult to be sober around all that drinking.”

RHONY airs on Thursdays on Bravo.
