Is it possible that Rihanna may be perfection?

Not only is she a talented singer and fashion icon/creator, she’s also an amazing humanitarian. In fact, in February Harvard’ named her “Humanitarian of the Year.”

After starting her new foundation Clara Lionel, she went to Malawi to spend time with school children in the classroom. She also partnered up with the bike-sharing company Ofo to help girls get to school every day.

And now, her newest charity campaign is showing how a little can go a long way.

Called “The Dollar Campaign,” fans can donate literally one dollar for the chance at a prize of a lifetime: airfare and ritzy lodging in NYC, where the winner and a guest will attend the Diamond Ball, a star-studded gala for Riri’s Clara Lionel Foundation. The campaign is live until September 5th.

So why just $1? Rihanna explained in her Humanitarian Award acceptance speech,

“I want to challenge each of you to make a commitment to help one person, one organization, one situation that touches your heart. My grandmother always used to say if you have a dollar there’s plenty to share.”

The dollar donations go to support Rihanna’s foundation, and on the campaign’s website, it truly shows how a small quantity of money can be used for good.

It’s worth mentioning that $1 could provide 1 brick to a school in Malawi, $10 could provide 10 books, $15 could provide a girl with essential school supplies, and $20 could provide a month of schooling for a girl.
