Shailene Woodley FaceTimed with ‘Big Little Lies’ Son and His Stuffed Animals

This week in adorableness we learned that Shailene Woodley FaceTimed with her Big Little Lies son, played by Iain Armitage.

Yeah, just let them image sink in for a moment.

The moment came out while Armitage, who plays Ziggy, was giving an interview to Vulture and discussed his first meeting with his new TV mom.

“So what happened was, when we had heard we got the part we FaceTimed. So we FaceTimed her and we were just, you know, talking and I showed her some of my stuffed animals. I love stuffed animals. I have so many. Then we just kind of talked a little while on FaceTime.”

So. Freaking. Cute.

Armitage has been making waves since Big Little Lies premiered on HBO. His character is accused of attempting to choke a fellow classmate in the first episode (reminder: he’s supposed to be in first grade in the show).

Iain Armitage also got cast as Sheldon in The Big Bang Theory spinoff, Young Sheldon. Talk about a career boost!

You can catch Armitage along with costars Woodley, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Zoe Kravitz on Big Little Lies on HBO on Sundays 9 PM.
