Taylor Swift has been a total queen of the Grammys ever since she made her debut back in 2008.
Not only has Taylor been nominated for 46 Grammy Awards, but she’s also taken home 11 wins including three for Album of the Year.
On top of that, her fashion evolution over the years has been a ton of fun to watch as we get to see how each era translates to the red carpet.
Of course, Taylor has been known to skip a Grammys ceremony or two so every time she graces us with her presence is a total treat.

2008

Taylor officially made her red carpet debut at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards where she wore a Sandy Spika Purple Strapless Gown along with her signature curls.
Taylor was nominated as Best New Artist and, while she didn’t win, she definitely made a statement.
2009

Taylor returned to the award show in 2009 rocking a gorgeous KaufmanFranco Black Gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and an ethereal updo.
At the award show, she performed a rendition of her song “Fifteen” with Miley Cyrus.
2010

In 2010, Taylor opted for a more glam look with a KaufmanFranco Blue Sequin Off-the-Shoulder Gown (we found an identical gown here!), Christian Louboutin Blue Sequin Pumps, and Lorraine Schwartz Diamond Teardrop Earrings.
This was also the year that Taylor won big — she took home four Grammys including Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Fearless, and Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse”. She was also nominated for four more awards including three for “You Belong With Me”.
2012

After skipping the 2011 Grammys, Taylor returned to the award show wearing a couture Zuhair Murad Beige Embellished Gown, Prada Gold Sandals, and Neil Lane Jewelry. She also ditched her curls for a pulled-back updo.
Although she was largely snubbed for her album Speak Now, she did walk away with two Grammy wins for Best Country Solo Performance and Best Country Song, both for “Mean.” She also performed the hit song during the ceremony.
2013

At the 2013 Grammys, Taylor looked like a Greek goddess in a beautiful J. Mendel White Pleated Strapless Gown with Jimmy Choo Gold Pumps.
Although she wasn’t nominated for much, Taylor didn’t walk away completely empty-handed. She won Best Song Written For Visual Media for her song “Safe & Sound” which she created for The Hunger Games. She also gave a very memorable performance of “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” dressed as a crystal-embellished circus ring leader.
2014

Taylor returned to the 2014 Grammys in a sparkling Gucci Silver Sequin Short-Sleeve Gown and Jimmy Choo Black Ankle Strap Sandals.
She was also nominated for four Grammys that year — including Album of the Year for Red — and gave an incredibly moving performance of her cult-favorite hit “All Too Well.”
2015

Taylor Swift reinvented herself yet again in 2015 when she returned with short, straightened hair and a dress fit for a pop princess. She rocked a vibrant Elie Saab Blue Sequin Ombre High-Low Gown (here’s an affordable dupe!) and Giuseppe Zanotti Purple Suede Pumps.
That year she was nominated for three Grammys, all of which for “Shake it Off”, but ultimately walked away with nada.
2016

In 2016, Taylor again opted for a colorful red carpet look and wore a fun Atelier Versace Orange Crop Top and Fuschia Pink Maxi Skirt.
This was also the year that Taylor won big. The songwriter earned seven nominations for 1989 and three wins including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, and Best Music Video.
