With a new music era comes a new fashion aesthetic. At least, according to Taylor Swift.
Taylor has proven to be quite the chameleon over the past 10+ years so when she debuted The Tortured Poets Department back in April, we knew we were due for another wardrobe change.
While Taylor has worn several designers on repeat this era — Gucci and Versace among them — Vivienne Westwood has clearly become her calling card.
We probably should have predicted this — she rocked several pieces by the designer in her “Fortnight” music video. And if you follow Taylor Swift, then you know nothing she does is accidental.
Since then, she’s rocked several pieces by Vivienne Westwood including a Vivienne Westwood Burgundy Check Draped Corset Top and a Vivienne Westwood Light Blue Corset Midi Dress.
And even when she’s wearing other designers, she still seems to channel the essence of Vivienne. At the VMAs in September, she wore a yellow tartan corset high-low gown. It may have been designed by Dior but it also gave off major Vivienne Westwood vibes.
