It’s only two episodes in and Luke P. is already one of the most hated contestants this season on The Bachelorette.
It all started last episode when, during the Mr. Right pageant, Luke decided to use his talent portion to profess that he was already “falling in love” with her. It had been less than 48 hours since they’d met. (Barf!)
Fans and fellow contestants alike have already called out Luke for being a phony (Demi Lovato even posted to IG stories that Hannah shouldn’t trust him!) but seemingly, Hannah was into it. Well… not completely.
She told Daily Pop,
“When he was saying that, I was like, ‘Oh god. You’re about to say it. Oh, please don’t. Oh, you are. Oh, you did. You did, you said it.’ It’s still a shock.”

She also told Entertainment Tonight,
“It was very awkward with all the other guys there too and, like, an audience. It was awkward in that moment.”
But unlike the rest of us, Hannah B. thinks he was actually being sincere and couldn’t help but be flattered.
“I mean, honestly, part of me was kind of like, ‘Oh, I’m glad this guy likes me, and that’s more than like! And now everyone knows how you feel.'”

And the truth was, Hannah was totally into him too. So maybe she just wanted to believe it?
“He was the person that I had the first real, indescribable connection with, I would say. And if anybody was going to say it, I would more so believe Luke out of anybody. [But] at the end of the night, I started questioning it a little bit too.”
I have a feeling that Luke P. isn’t going anywhere though, especially if the season preview is to be believed. Not to mention that it looks like he’s going to *totally* lose it at some point.
Of course, Hannah wasn’t present for that moment so she’s looking forward to seeing how it plays out on screen.
“I haven’t seen that before. It’s going to be interesting for me to watch some of the things that happen because I only know what happens in the interactions with the men and based off what they say to me.”
The Bachelorette airs on Mondays on ABC.
