Max (formerly HBO Max) has just dropped its latest horror comedy film, The Parenting, and yes, it’s just as terrifying as it sounds.
The Parenting follows a young gay couple who invites both sets of parents to a rental home in the country for a meet-and-greet and weekend away. Two sets of inlaws in the same house? Yikes.
But it gets worse. Because not only do two families have to survive the weekend together, they also have to survive in a haunted house! Poltergeists and demon dogs are just * a few* of the horrors they’ll have to deal with to make it out alive.
The Parenting has an all-star cast that includes Parker Posey (The White Lotus), Lisa Kudrow (Friends), Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie), Brian Cox (Succession), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), and Vivian Bang (White Rabbit).
