Trump Campaign Supports Gun Store's Billboard Targeting AOC, Ilhan Omar

The Cherokee Guns store in North Carolina has taken out a huge billboard advertisement targeting four WOC Representatives: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley. And naturally, the Trump 2020 campaign is seemingly on board with it.

The advertisement in question (see below) features all four Representatives’ faces with the words “The 4 Horseman are Idiots” and is signed “the deplorables.”

Apparently, the advertisement has been a huge hit in the community and the gun store has even started handing out free stickers with the same image and message. They wrote on Facebook,

“Alright my fellow Infidels for Trump…due to OVERWHELMING demand…you may come by the shop (next week) and get your very own FOUR HORSEMEN COMETH STICKER…simple…eat a piece of bacon…tell us you’re voting for Trump in 2020…then get your limited edition bumper sticker!! (While supplies last!) Snowflakes and Liberals are not eligible.”

Despite the clear message, the founder of the store Doc Wacholz insists he’s “not being racist” but then said,

“They’re socialists, from my point of view. I also feel a couple of them, being Muslim, have ties to actual terrorist groups.”

The billboard has obviously inspired outrage from people who are actually not racist and the billboard company has promised they will take it down, although it’s not clear when.

Both Representatives Tlaib and Pressley have responded to the ads on Twitter and Pressley implored the Representative from that district, Mark Meadows, to speak out. She wrote,

“Cherokee Guns is in your district & you and I serve on a committee together. Here’s your chance to finally do the right thing.”

Representative Meadows has not responded. However, Trump’s 2020 campaign team commented on her post and wrote,

“When will you condemn the Antifa terrorist attack?”

Not exactly a condemnation of the billboard.

Of course, Trump has been leading the charge against the female politicians.

Although all four women were targets from the time they were sworn into office — particularly Rep. Ilhan Omar — Trump has been responsible for amplifying the animosity and racism towards the women.

In July, he wrote on Twitter,

“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime-infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!”

He has also been leading “send them back” chants at his campaign rallies.

Despite the constant death threats and violent rhetoric, all four politicians have continued to show up to work and do their jobs as best to their abilities. Rep. Omar was even greeted by a hoard of cheering supporters at the airport when she came to Minnesota to hold town hall meetings.

It’s inspiring to see the amazing work these Representatives have done despite being constantly surrounded by threats of violence.

In times like these, it’s more vital than ever that we vocalize our support for all four Representatives and show racists that these “snowflakes” won’t be pushed around.
