NBC’s new show Powerless has been officially pulled from the air. The series, which featured Vanessa Hudgens, only had three episodes left in the first season, but it looks like they’ll never see the light of day.
Deadline officially broke the news that NBC will replace Powerless with their latest hit Superstore starring America Ferrera. The show’s Executive Producer Patrick Schumacker later confirmed the news by tweeting,
#Powerless will not air this week or next. This, I know for sure. I can guess some other things but they’re not good. Thanks for watching.

The show originally debuted with only 3.1 million viewers turning in and has seen a steady decline ever since. The show focused on Hudgens as a woman trying to protect citizens from superheroes and villains. And while the show hasn’t officially been canceled, it’s not looking good.
Luckily for Hudgens, she has other things on the horizon. She’s set to appear in High School Musical 4 and also just dropped a new song “Reminding Me” with Shawn Hook. We have a feeling she’ll recover soon.
